Good solid diner food. Great for a Sunday breakfast. Not too busy, good wait staff and good food. Make sure you try their rye toast.
The food was okay at best. The seafood bisque was more of cream of seafood with salt and Velveeta. The burger was super thin and cooked over what I ordered. The wait staff also had no personality kinda like robots. Do not think I will ever be back.
I always wonder what's up when the reviews are all over the place. Maybe the staffing has beer erratic. I've been there twice for breakfast and twice for lunch. Each time the food was good, the portions more than generous and the service fine. I try to give any business the benefit of the doubt unless I have a really terrible experience that is not resolved on the spot. I am really surprised to see some of the negative comments here. That simply has not been my experience at Cornerstone.
This is a convenient place to stop in for a filling meal. The food is good, but the service is great their very attentive to your needs.
I would not even put star, but wouldn't let ne comment unless I did ! Im so mad and embarrassed by our experience today! Group of friends try to meet twice a month for breakfast. We usually have a favirite place to go, but thought why not try the Cornerstone. What a mistake-How is it possible you get to a restaurant at 9:30 Am- only a handful of people in restaurant and ALL 5 breakfast were wrong, not as ordered, food ice cold, eggs look like they were not cooked at all. I had to flag down another waitress to get us a 2nd cup of coffee, 3-other tables were waiting to order, waiter tells them sorry busy. Food came at 10:25 almost a hour, and not 1 meal correct. When he finally came back after what seemed hrs. I told him how each meal was not cooked or wrong, asked for the manager, He proceeded to another table and said "order at your own risk" basically mocking all the things wrong with our meal thatv I just had told him, he came over at 11:15 and said we are set he will take care of meal- I specially asked for a manger !!! It wasn't a free meal we were looking for hardly any food was touched, it's's all the mess that this get together caused us, just disguesting, I wanted the manager, of course he never showed up ! The more I'm typing this, I'm pissed we left a tip. I would have never paid for this mess we were given ! Funny thing I went to a store and was telling cashier and a man behind me said" You must be talking about Cornerstone " Intresting- And yeah we won't be back ! Funny
